Enabling high-quality, cinematic experiences
EditAbout
This site was created as a community resource for developers working with
Windows Presentation Foundation. The idea for this site started back in 2003, when the lead developers of the
Xceed DataGrid for WPF were beginning to dabble with WPF. Every question that seemed of common interest was noted and, as each answer was found, the question and answer was added to a database. In March 2007, the
WPF FAQ on WPFwiki.com was born and over 100 initial questions and answers were published, in Wiki form, for the benefit of developers working with WPF.
Now, you can contribute as well. Being a wiki, you can
create new pages, or edit the pages contained within to add and improve the contents, as long as you
register first, and agree to the
contribution policy.

As well as being the home of the world's largest WPF FAQ, WPFwiki is also a great place to find the
best WPF resources out there. The WPFwiki moderator reads lots of blogs and routinely visits practically all the available WPF web sites. Along with your help, WPFwiki can have a pretty good, up-to-date list.

EditPrizes
To promote quality contributions to the WPF FAQ, we plan to award prizes to the top contributors a couple of times a year. It may only take a few good Q & A contributions for you to be eligible for a prize, so why not give it a shot? As you are learning WPF, and discover the answers to your questions, post them here.
The prizes we have in mind include product licenses, iPods, and more. We're still in the planning stages to determine how and when we'll be awarding prizes, and will post a link to a page with the details here as soon as it is ready.
